6TH
Religion- Today the sixth grade reviewed for the quiz. They have a study guide and a worksheet to review. This week we will read Chapter 2 and take a quiz next week. Tuesday the students will finish an Illuminated scripture verse. We will take notes and discuss. Memorized prayer is due next week.
English- Today we reviewed nouns and the student have a worksheet to complete. We will go over nouns in pictures as well as verbs. After this review, we re-visit subject and verbs and take a test next week. We will work with Greek and Latin root words this week.
7TH
Religion- Quiz tomorrow. We did review in class today. Tomorrow we will go over the sections of the Bible and continue on to Chapter 2. We will take notes and discuss. Memorized prayer due next week.
English- Today we went over Greek and Latin roots. We connected the roots in a picture. This week we will define the English words and use them in sentences. We went over prepositional phrases and did exercises 12 and 13 on pgs. 323-326. Tomorrow we will go on to adjective and adverb phrases.
8TH
Religion- We worked on journal and went to mass. Tomorrow there will be a quiz on Chapter 1 with notes. This week we will begin Chapter 2. Memorized prayer due next week.
English- Today we worked on Greek and Latin roots and we will work on definitions and sentences this week. Work on prepositional phrases and then review adjectives and adverb phrases.
P.E. is on Wednesday and Friday.
