The week of Sept. 17 -21

I don't know what happened but my blog did not post yesterday.  I am trying to re-create it.  So sorry!
6th:
Religion- Today we took a quiz on chapter one and the students need to finish a worksheet on scripture.  Tomorrow we will create an illuminated scripture verse.  Thursday we will start chapter two with discussion about God's creation.  The students will work on an environmental issue project which will include some research.
English- Today we continued review on nouns.  Tonight 6th grade needs to write 5 sentences using their picture of a noun as a subject.  Tomorrow we will do the same with verbs.  Thursday we will go over punctuation and Friday on fragments and run on sentences.  Vocabulary will consist of a number line to label tomorrow and definitions on Thursday with a skit on Friday.
7th:
Religion-Took quiz today, and worked on bookmarks for the Bible. Tomorrow we will finish the bookmarks.  We will start on chapter two and continue taking notes.
English- Today 7th was introduced to the adverb phrase.  We practiced in class and will continue tomorrow as well as being introduced to adjective phrases.  We will take a quiz next week.
Vocabulary- the students will look up the words tomorrow and start using them in sentences.
8th-Religion: Took quiz today.  Will start chapter two tomorrow.
English- Looked up vocabulary words today and worked on phrases.  Will continue working on adj. and adverb phrases.
ALL GRADES NEED TO MEMORIZE THE MORNING OFFERING PRAYER.
