6th- Welcome back!
Religion- We will be working on Chapter 4 this week. Today we looked at the Rosary and discussed the prayers. We started skimming the first two pages of the chapter. Homework: memorize Hail, Holy Queen.
English- We worked on reviewing for vocabulary. There will be a quiz on unit one on Friday. Each day this week we will review for the quiz. We will also review subject and predicates and introduced to clauses.Homework: Create a a study guide for the parts of speech words and definition words.
7th
Religion- We went over the Rosary today. We started taking notes on the articles in Chapter 4. Homework: Memorize Hail, Holy Queen. We will prep for all school mass.
English- Today we created practice note cards. We wrote on the blank side all the info needed from a book, a magazine/newspaper, internet, and encyclopedia. It should be in MLA format for a works cited page. We will continue learning how to gather information and taking notes to get ready for the science fair. We will be taking a vocabulary quiz on Friday on unit 2.
8th
Religion- Mass and journal. Memorize Hail, Holy Queen.
English-Read 7th grade English: we did the same thing. WE started unit 2 in vocabulary.
