Religion- We will be working on Chapter 4 this week. Today we looked at the Rosary and discussed the prayers. We started skimming the first two pages of the chapter. Homework: memorize Hail, Holy Queen.
English- We worked on reviewing for vocabulary. There will be a quiz on unit one on Friday. Each day this week we will review for the quiz. We will also review subject and predicates and introduced to clauses.Homework: Create a a study guide for the parts of speech words and definition words.

The students are expected to write an answer to the question by echoing the question, using an example and explaining how the example backs up their answer. These questions will be graded like a quiz. The students should be writing this why for all questions. Tomorrow we will be working on a study guide for the quiz on Thursday.
English- We are focused on vocabulary. In class, the students worked in pairs on crossword puzzles which they will finish tomorrow. Tomorrow is the quiz, please study. Depending on time, we will begin working on research steps for science fair.

Religion- We worked on our prayer chart and students need to finish it tonight. We will be taking a quiz on Thursday, so tomorrow we will work on a study guide. Students should read their notes each night. After Thursday we will start working on Chapter 4 and all school mass.
English- We did a word square after we went online to check the various items to help the students study. There are games and other items on the Sadlier website. On Wednesday we will take a quiz on Unit 1 in vocabulary and the students have a study guide. We will start unit 2 on Thursday. This week we will start going over science fair research and how to write a paper. We will begin with note taking for the paper.

Then they re-wrote the story to create a good choice example. Tomorrow they will present the story. Homework is to have parents sign quizzes.
English- Red book: pg. 126 ex. 1 and finish Voc. pg. 26.
