Religion- Today we went over The Shepherd art print and discussed how this image is related to Christ. The students wrote about their own image of Christ. They also worked on a word scramble of key terms and the definitions. They received a study guide for unit 12. QUIZ ON THURSDAY.
English- We worked on vocabulary words and started a study guide of unit 3. QUIZ ON FRIDAY.
The students need to finish unit 3 in the workbook for homework. We also went over organizing a paragraph. Tomorrow they will finish typing an opinion paragraph and we will do peer editing this week.
7th
Religion- The students continued working on questions from the Gospel of Matthew. They worked in groups. All questions should be done by Friday.
English- We discussed how to write in-text citations and the students will turn in a rough draft of their essay. It should be typed and double spaced. In vocabulary, we started a study guide. QUIZ IS ON FRIDAY. For homework the students should finish unit 4.
8th
Religion- We prepared a lesson for Families. Families will be on Friday. We also discussed the Pope resigning.
English- We went over the essay which the students will type and turn in a rough draft on Thursday. Tomorrow we will go over the study guide for unit 4 in vocabulary. QUIZ IS ON FRIDAY.
THIS WEEK BEGINS LENT. STUDENTS WILL GO TO MASS ON WEDNESDAY AT 10:00 A.M. TOMORROW IS FAT TUESDAY, STUDENTS MAY WEAR BEADS BUT IT IS NOT FREE DRESS. ON THURSDAY WE WILL EXCHANGE VALENTINES.
