Wednesday

6th
Religion- I assigned the students the readings and other duties for Sunday mass.  They worked in groups to discuss the character of a "good person."  We did this as preparation to start reading Unit 2, chapter one in the religion book.  Tomorrow and Friday, we will practice for mass.  Memorize the prayer.
English- We corrected homework on simple, compound and complex sentences.  Tonight, the homework is on page 396 ex. 4.  Students should diagram subject, verb and conjunction. Test next week.
7th
Religion- We went over notes and the 10 questions from last week with our partners.  We started chapter three in unit 2 reading and taking notes.  Open note quiz will be on Friday.  Memorize the prayer.
English- We finished gerunds exercise 12 on page 366 in class.  If the student didn't finish, it is for homework.  the "works cited" page is due tomorrow.  Tomorrow we will work on gerund phrases.  There will be a test on participles and gerunds next week.
8th
Religion- We wrote thank you notes to Jamie and Mrs. Kent for their leadership on the retreat.  We picked our Kris Kringles for next week. We have Wake up with Jamie tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
English- Works cited page is due tomorrow.
