6th
Religion- Today we read and discussed Advent.  We also went over how to do a presentation for the power point on a saint.  Tomorrow, the students will present their power point.
English- We reviewed sub. and independent clauses with a partner.  Tomorrow students will be introduced to complex sentences.
7th
Religion- Students worked with a partner as they read chapter two of unit two.
English- Students wrote paragraphs using participle phrases.  Tomorrow the students will work in groups and read through the paragraphs.
8th
Religion- We went to mass today.  We also discussed the retreat.  Parents need to sign a behavior contract.
English- We went over research papers.  Students need to rewrite another draft.

RETREAT IS THIS WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY.  STUDENTS WILL GO TO MASS ON WEDNESDAY AT 8:00 A.M.
