6TH, 7TH AND 8TH HAVE THE NICENE CREED TO MEMORIZE BY WEDNESDAY.
6th
Religion: Today we continued to read our saints books. Students need to finish their books. The power point presentation is due next Tuesday on 12/4/12. We will take the unit 1 TEST on Friday. Students have study guides and should start reviewing. Students need to have their quiz signed.
English: We worked on clauses again. Students should work on Ex. 2, 6-10 on page 378. Quiz should be signed and returned. Sub. clauses quiz is on Thursday.
7th
Religion: We started Unit 2. Students read about St. Mark and took notes. They shared their notes with a partner. Tomorrow we will read and take notes on the articles. We will have a quiz on this chapter on Friday. Please sign quiz and return.
English: We took notes from a power point presentation and our book on participles. Ex. 9 on page 363 is due tomorrow. We will take a quiz on Thursday on participles and participle phrases.
8th
Religion: We took notes on Advent and discussed traditions. We cut out wreaths for Families. The 8th graders will lead Families on Thursday afternoon. I will teach them how to teach a lesson on Advent. We will work on this all week. Students should be researching for their early church history paper and memorial project.
English: Will go over research papers and students should work on the papers this week and next. They should be reading a book so we can start writing an essay by the end of next week.
